The paved trend !

There seems to be a trend for people to pave or concrete their front and/or back gardens. There are reasons why this is bad and practical reasons why it is done.

The bad points are that it is boring, depressing and un-inventive. The wildlife in the area suffer from lack of plants and lawn. The rain water can't soak into the grass and can cause local floods.

The practical reasons are car parking and lack of time to look after a garden.
